The handle on my Glacier Bay kitchen faucet is loose. The set screw will no longer hold the handle in place, no matter how hard I tighten the screw.

I bought a Glacier Bay shower faucet that was missing the machine screw that anchors the hexagonal valve stem to the cartridge and allows me to secure the faucet handle. I Glacier Bay last week and ordered the missing part based on the part number pictured and listed in the installation booklet. I received the part today. The part number is hand-written on the envelope (RP50199 ), but the screw is not the correct one – It is a flat head screw and what is needed here is a round head screw. This one does not even fit through the faucet handle and will not anchor it properly.
