Glacier Bay Products - Bathroom Faucet
we had the handle of our main floor bathroom faucet shoot off independently due to water pressure while we were in our living room. The faucet is only a few years old, and the water caused some flooding and drywall damage in our basement. Glacier Bay Products - Not happy with the Brass Teapot 4' Centerset
Looks nice was happy with the product until recently the internal washers ( upstairs bathroom its the Hot shutoff valve internal washer has worn and unable to turn off the stream flowing out. The downstairs bathroom its the same condition however it's the Cold shutoff valve and unable to shut off stream of cold water coming out. Tomorrow I will have to purchase from the local Homedepot ( where I bought this unit ) and get the valves and replace the ones with worn out washers. Note in the picture provided below the hot/cold shutoff valves are in the off position and yet the water is streaming out. arrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhh! :(

Glacier Bay Products in Miami, Florida - Faucet issue
Hello, We recently (1 month ago ) remodeled our master bath. We purchased a Glacier Bay LED light nickel brushed faucet. To my disappointment it has already started rusting in various areas. Purchased kitchen faucet at Home Depot 11/23/18 { one year ago.} Model HD67496-1008D2. I think your model number is 69256999 7730. This month the pull down tubing sprang several leaks and ruined my cafe curtains above the sink. I have the receipt for this purchase. I expect a full replacement for the faucet. Never expected a faucet to not last at least a year and spew water in my face. Company coming and expect a speedy response or entire internet will share my pain.

Your problem arose because the braided hose supplying hot water from your water heater broke---not an uncommon thing to happen and having little to do with the actual faucet itself. From your photos, it is not apparent how this hose attaches to the faucet.
Most supply hoses are individual ones with one end attached to the faucet and the other to the copper supply line. If the hoses, cold and hot can be removed from the faucet and supply line, then just buy a new one and attach it as usual. If it is permanently attached to the faucet, then you would, of course have to buy a new faucet. Nothing lasts forever.
In your case, I would check the hot water temperature to see what the water heater is set for. Too high of a temperature setting is not good and can cause high pressure which is not good for the supply hose. Just a thought.
OSHA recommends a temp of 140 degrees and most heaters are pre-set for that. If yours is set for "high" or similar, turn it down to "normal."
