Glacier bay granite composite sink

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Hello, I got purchased Glacier Bay composite sink almost one year ago from Home Depot and after sometimes it cracked and broke I tried to glue it but it cracked again from other side. Water run all to the cabinets and hardwood floor. How can I replace it? It looked good and fancy that's why I got it but I think I better go with GB stainless steel models. Is there any way I could return this to HD and get a replacement?

Escutcheons don't cover holes

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Glacier Bay Products - Escutcheons don't cover holes
Careful about drilling holes in tile to accommodate the WingIts anchor bolts. I used the holes drilled in the Glacier Bay 24" grab bar to register the 3/4" holes I drilled in my bathroom tile for the anchor bolts, When I slipped the escutcheons down to cover the grab bar installation, a gap of 1/4" revealed itself that could not be covered without a larger escutcheon. WingIts provided a template that, had I used it, would have avoided the problem, but Glacier Bay didn't indicate this could be a problem other than saying that their products were "WingIts compatible."

Preferred solution: Larger escutcheon.

User's recommendation: Use WingIts template when drilling holes to install Glacier Bay grab bars.

Missing parts to my product

Glacier Bay Products - Missing parts to my product
2 set screws for HD67248W-6004 bath faucet missing from the box Customer Serv sent 2 set screws that fit the allen wrench, but are too small and do not seat. Bag was labeled 5000. Perhaps wrong set screws in bin? I appreciate a mailing address for customer service & name of supervisor to send set screws back and someone can see if these were in the wrong bin or the wrong ones sent, or perhaps send me a one size larger set screw. email: debi_brockman@***.com Debi Lowe: 808-990-****

Low quality of Garcia Bay Kitchen Faucet

Glacier Bay Products - Low quality of Garcia Bay Kitchen Faucet - Image 2
I have a Garcia Bay Pulldown Kitchen Faucet, It has an electronic sensor to control the water flow. After about three years, the Sensor unit stopped working, and no water flow. It doesn't have the manual override. I have no water to wash dishes. The Customer Service sent me a Battery unit and a Sensor unit and asked me to work as a plumber to repair the kitchen faucet myself. A Plumber came and through this Garcia Bay Pulldown Kitchen Faucet away and replaced it with a new faucet. I lost more than $425 by using the Garcia Bay Faucet. I will not recommend this brand.

Glacier Bay Products - Pink bowl
I have 3 toilets in my house and the glacier bay is the only one that turns pink on the bowl from the water level down. It can be brushed off with some effort but is frustrating. Why does the bowl turn pink?

To ask about a specific toilet, I'm not grumpy!

Glacier Bay Products - To ask about a specific toilet, I'm not grumpy!

Glacier Bay does not make available products customers require even though your retail outlets "advertise" the products. The products, such as "comfort height" (i.e.

shorter bowls) or round bowls, though listed on packaging are not available at Home Depot nor are the UPC / skew numbers available to purchase online through customer service.

If "chair height" is the ADA requirement for people with disabilities, what about the rest of the population that requires shorter toilets, that are not using: wheel chairs, crutches, or walkers? To stop the confusion check the shipping boxes your current McClure line toilets are packed, and you will verify your marketing is faulty and your packaging is fraudulent.

Pros:
  • Products at home depot rather than through plumbing outlets
Cons:
  • False advertising
  • Product unavailability

Preferred solution: The actual product needed to be available to consumers: shorter McClure toilet with a rounded (not elongated) bowl...

User's recommendation: Get all the products produced and on the shelves in retail outlets and you will sell more toilets and satisfy your consumers needs.

To ask about a specific toilet

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Glacier Bay Products - To ask about a specific toilet

Glacier Bay, specifically indicates McClure single piece toilets are produced in four styles: Elongated Bowl, Round Bowl, Chair Height (seat 16+ inches) and "Comfort" Height (seat less than 16 inches) However, the UPC and skew numbers for the lower height toilet to accommodate the physical limitations of people with disabilities (or just shorter legs) are not available. I called Niagra (the manufacturer) whose representative indicates that they create toilets due to ADA requirements, however ignoring the rest of the population that does not use wheel chairs nor requires taller toilets.

How do I acquire the shorter seat toilet indicated on the toilets' shipping boxes at Home Depot but not maintained in inventory at the retail outlets, not available through customer service (i.e.: online)? Notice the container in the attached photo indicates that four different models of the McClure are on the market!!!

I purchased a Glacier Bay Marcie Touch kitchen faucet fom Home Depot 12/26/2023.

I hired a plumber to install it at a cost of $125. It was installed only to discover it was defective.

He advised purchasing a better brand which I did from Home Depot.

The plumber returned to remove and replace the defective Glacier Bay and replaced it with a more expensive Delta Faucet for an additional charge of $125.

Had the Home Depot brand faucet not been defective, I would not have incurred the additional expense.

I think Home Depot should reimburse me for this extra charge. A copy of the plumbing service invoice can be provided to confirm the charges.

Sincerely,

Carl Weisser

Vanity tops

I purchased four vanities for a new home construction in January 2023. The vanities were installed in June of 2023.

One vanity was returned due to broken top and replaced with a new one. Immediately following installation and with general use three of the four vanity tops are marked and stained. Water splashes have left marks and staining that are visible.

I have owned and purchased glacier bay vanities in the past for my rental cottage with no issues or problems so I expected these vanities to be of equal quality. I am hoping these are covered under warranty as they are less than 6 months old installed.

Glacier Bay Products - Glacier Bay faucet Repair/Replacement
My faucet is leaking since last 15 days and Its so confusing to claim lifetime warranty of it. Customer care does not pick up call. emailed as well. After 30 minutes of wait, when they picked up a call, they offer a *** part as a "WARRANTY" repair. what a degraded product with even lower standard. This part will take 7-10 days to arrive and will waste mt 2 hours to fix this. I would rather buy a better product from somewhere else.

One more company that makes $$ on us but doesn’t care about their reputation or integrity

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

So we bought a Glacier Bay kitchen faucet & i love it so far. No probs yet but weve only had it for one week, lol.

My comment is merely this: whatever happened to companies who value their customers loyalty & are excellent @ fulfilling their promises & warranties?

Everything in this nation has gone downhillcustomer service, knowledgeable employees, upper ranking company employees who dont care they are getting horrible reviews for their products, etc. Its irresponsible & infuriating.

Hire knowledgeable employees or @ least train them so they know how to answer cust svc & warranty questions. If this keeps happening the next thing you know you will lose most of your business from customers who have been ignored, & word of mouth advtsg really does work well. And there goes your profits.

Demand goes down, you dont improve your weaknesses, and your company is done. Good luck with that.
